About Our Business
Christine Lamb Stanton is the owner of Stanton Gallery. She was born and raised in the City of Alexandria where she began her life-long love of jewelry at Alexandria�s Torpedo Factory Art League School. Later Christine Went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in 1998 from the Rhode Island School of Design, Where she majored in Jewelry and Light Metals.
For a year following graduation, Christine worked in Boston as a custom jewelry designer and wax carver. Since returning to Alexandria in 1999 Christine established her home-based design business �Stanton Designs, Ltd.� designing custom jewelry pieces. She decided to move forward with her dream of opening a gallery in Alexandria and in July 2002 Stanton Gallery opened for business.
Christine has worked to assemble artists whose special craftsmanship and design skills will be featured at the Gallery. They are all wonderful artists with fresh insights and new designs. Stanton Gallery is committed to making available to the discriminating shoppers the latest and finest in hand crafted jewelry in a warm and personal setting and to present to its clientele, in this day of manufactured goods, the truth that � if you look � it is still possible to own the very finest in hand crafted wearable art.

Custom Jewelry Design is our hallmark. We take great pride in our custom jewelry design skills and unique one-of-a-kind platinum engagement rings and heirloom quality wedding rings. Our custom jewelry design includes diamond rings, diamond bracelets, diamond necklaces, diamond earrings, diamond studs, and more. We have created our custom jewelry design services to meet your specific needs. When you shop with us, your imagination is the only limit to what we can create for you. However, if you seek the tradition, elegant splendor, and legacy, of a tiffany setting style, we have those as well. We can create anything you can show us or describe.

DELIVERY
Purchases are shipped within 3 days of receipt, based on item availability. Because Stanton Gallery specializes in handcrafted, limited edition artisan and designer jewelry some pieces may require 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. You will be informed of availability at the time of your purchase.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
All orders are shipped via insured UPS Next Day Air or UPS 2nd Day Air. Orders received before 12pm CST will ship the following day if the item is in stock. Shipping within the United States only. At this time, we are unable to ship to international addresses, P.O. boxes, an A.P.O. or F.P.O. address or U.S. territories. Shipping times exclude weekends and holidays. Shipping prices are subject to change. Sales tax is not added unless we are shipping to within Virginia (5%). All shipments will require a signature upon delivery. Returns Policies
Jewelry that is not created as a custom order may be returned for CREDIT, or EXCHANGE within 15 days from the date shipped. As described below, jewelry that is created as custom order MAY NOT be returned; all such purchases of custom jewelry are FINAL.
In order for credit, or exchange to be granted, all items purchased must be returned in their original and unworn condition."Original and unworn" means that there are no marks, blemishes, orscratches on the metal, stone(s) or other materials, alterations or signs of wear on the item or tag. The tag must be attached to the item. Used, worn, or broken items are not eligible for a credit or exchange. All original packaging and all paperwork must be returned as well.
In order to return an item, email before returning the item(s) to obtain a return authorization number (RA#). Clearly print the code on the outside of the package. We are unable to process returns/exchanges without such a return code. For your security please return item(s) with an insured courier and retain your shipping receipt. Stanton Gallery is not responsible for item(s) lost or damaged in transit.
Pieces that are created as a special order and/ or custom design, a custom order, or jewelry, that requires modification such as ring sizing, exchanging stones/ pearls and is ordered as a custom order ARE NOT returnable.
Custom designed or special order pieces will match the design you approved including dimensions, type of stone(s) and pearl(s), and metals (gold or silver), are subject to slight variations due to the nature of hand craft jewelry that may include minor variations in the overall size of the piece and/or minor difference in the stone and/ or pearl colors and shape. Any standard item that is customized (special ring size, adding stones/ pearls, changing stones/ pearls, etc.) and provided as ordered is not returnable for refund.
When an order is processed and shipped to a customer and the package is returned marked "return to sender" or because of address error on the part of the customer, we will charge the customer for the return shipping charges. If the customer still requests the item to be shipped back to a correct address the recipient will be charged such additional shipping fees.
When an order is processed and shipped to a customer and the package is returned marked �refused� or �no signature� was obtained by the courier after several delivery attempts and was held at the courier for a specified time for the customer to pick up. Then the courier returned the package to Stanton Gallery the recipient will be charged for the return shipping.
Gift certificates are final sale and can not be returned.
