Heather Guidero graduated from the Rhode Island
School of Design in 2002, with a BFA in Jewelry and
Metalsmithing. After moving to New York in 2002,
she worked as a goldsmith with the renowned jewelry
company Reinstein/ Ross for the next three years.
Summer of 2005 brought about a return to
Providence, Rhode Island, in order to focus more on
her own jewelry.
While her work has always reflected her interest in
movement, form, color, and alternate materials, she
has begun to develop a body of work around simple
geometric forms in wire and sheet, alternating the use
of high karat gold and blackened silver. From a simple
loop pendant to a necklace of tumbling circles, her
work is both streamlined and elegant.
